Description

The fabrics used for this upcycled handmade patchwork quilt were drawn from our vast stock pile collected over any years. The front sections are from a sample book picked up in an antique shop in the Borders. The backing is the lining from a pair of vintage curtains found in a charity shop in Sheffield. It wasn’t until I found the deep red several years later that I finally knew what to do with all the fabric. The combination of unusual textures sit together as if made for each other, resulting in a medium weight cosy, luxury throw which can never be replicated.
